To all of those that ever visit Buckhead, Ga., you must stop by The Ivy and get the Blue Chips (disclaimer: my great friend is the event coordinator!). The Ivy is one of my favorite bar/restaurants in the area, and I am in love with these chips. The appetizer is pilled high with chips, blue cheese dressing, cheese and bacon….so yummy!
The craving for the chips attacks me often, so I decided to search for a recipe on Pinterest. I came across a recipe from the blog Our Life in the Kitchen, which was super easy, spicy and delicious. These chips are great for dressing up your average potato chip for any occasion.
- 1 bag of kettle cooked potato chips
- cayenne pepper
- black pepper
- dried parsley
- crumbled blue cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Start by laying out the potato chips on a baking sheet and add the cayenne pepper. Add as much or as little cayenne pepper as you like!
Next add the black pepper, parsley and blue cheese. Again, add as much as or little as your taste buds desire!
Just place in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese melts. Start munching while they are hot!
Now these are no Ivy Blue Chips, but they do a pretty good job at satisfying my craving until my next visit to The Ivy! Enjoy!
